Hosteria Toloriu 1848

I recently had the pleasure of staying here while touring the Pyrenees with a group of fellow motorcycle riders, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home, even after long days on the road. The food at the hotel's restaurant was amazing. Each meal was a delightful experience, with a wide variety of dishes that were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The atmosphere in the dining area was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal after a day of riding. Sylvia is an amazing friendly host, made our stay a memorable one. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, reflecting the hotel's high standards of cleanliness. Every detail, from the comfortable bed to the well-stocked amenities, was taken care of to provide a luxurious and comfortable stay. It was a perfect retreat to rest and recharge. Overall, Hosteria Toloriu offers an exceptional combination of friendly service, amazing food, and a welcoming atmosphere. For anyone touring the Pyrenees or just looking for a top-notch hotel experience, I highly recommend Hosteria made our trip even more memorable.

Lovely staff and great food in the restaurant. Beautiful location with views to mountains and hills. The road in was winding and narrow but not too scary, I’m glad we didn’t come across other traffic. We brought the car in to unload but then moved it to a signposted area at the start of town. Watch out for free roaming horses around the town entrance.

Loved our stay at this clean, beautiful historical hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us and our husky puppy, even inviting us all into the dining room. Delicious Catalan cuisine for dinner and breakfast too!

The google reviews and photos of this magical place cannot do it justice. Simply stunning. Amazing views. Silvia, the host, and Ana, the chef are truly special. Will treasure our stay here for decades to come. Tip- Hike (easy, well marked) to the formatgeria de bar and buy artisanal goat cheese made in the goat farmer’s home while taking in the incredible views.

This charming little hotel is not on the main road, but if you are in this area it should really be considered to stay here! An enthusiastic hostesses welcomed us upon arrival and throughout our hole stay we felt very welcome. The room was spacious and clean, and had a nice outlook over the valley. Also there was a nice balcony outside the room where a fresh coffee could be enjoyed in the morning sun. The restaurant was also better than expected and was serving food at a high standard, e.g. the bacalao served with spinach, pine nuts and raisins was remarkable well tasting! English was not a well known language at this place, but thanks to google translate, patients and a good laugh we managed the communication with the staff quite well. This is definitely a hotel we would love to visit again!

Absolutely fascinating. We had great experience and incredible service. Quiet, beautiful and very comfortable place with chimney and board game room. Delicious food and perfect atmosphere to relax. Not enough words to express what a great time we had here. The staff was extremely kind,friendly and open. We enjoyed a lot and definitely will visit again.
